The Random GPS Compass Challenge: No Maps, No Plans, Just Distance

The 'Compass Challenge' forces creators to abandon all travel apps and navigation. You start at a random location, set a compass heading (e.g., 220 degrees Southwest), and move in a straight line for a fixed distance of 10 miles, regardless of the terrain. You must document every obstacle—private fences, rivers, or backyards—and interact with whoever you meet along the way, treating them as your only source of local 'intel' for the next step.
